So yesterday, I finally got my whippycake headbands in the mail. One word. Excitement. & I got a surprise gift from my auntie. Twiggy white & pink sneakers. LOVE.

Also, I came across this adorable blog, Cupcakes & Cashmere, and I checked out her hair tutorials and I loved her messy bun. I always wear my hair up in a bun, but never thought of taking a piece of hair and wrapping it around the rubber band so it doesn't show! {duh} Check out Emily's take on it.

Heaven on Earth...

Yesterday was such a fun day. I went with one of my fellow staffers (i'm on jr high staff at my church!) to Santana Row (only the best place ever!) for lunch and shopping. We went to Cafe Bistro, which I had never been to. One word. Delicious! Santana Row has some of my favorite stores: Anthropologie, H&M, Urban Outfitters, Paper Source, Pink Stripes, Jest Jewels, and Z-Gallerie! (and not to mention the best food ever!) So pretty much, I was in heaven (side note: I really hope there is an anthropologie in heaven...that would be suhweet). I went into Z-Gallerie and pretty much wanted to buy everything. I took pictures of some of my favorite color combinations (pictures coming soon...). Everything was so chic & glam...just what i love ;) Next stop, Anthropologie. Well hello beautiful door knobs! I went into the store hoping to find an interior design/decorating book. And did I :) I am so excited about it! Every page is utterly amazing. Next stop, Pink stripes. One of the cutest boutiques for not that pricey (considering it's Santana Row). I was so excited when I came across my favorite type of headbands (the thick knit ones that warm your ears too) that were made by a local designer. For only $18, I just had to get it. It's bright red and gorgeous. Final stop, TJ Max/Home Goods. Purchased an office supply sorter, some adorable cards, and a memory box :) I count yesterday a successful day of shopping! (and even it wasn't, i'm going back this friday! hehe..)

I LOVE Wall Art. There are so many things you can do instead of the typical paintings on the wall (not that those aren't great!) Wall Art is a great way to display creativity and excitement to any space.

Want a more modern feel to your space?

Pair a bunch of different abstract art in a cluster

Pure Excitement!

Today is the day where Whippy Cake revealed their new collection! Thanks to my friend Michaela Noelle I came across these absolutely adorable headbands.
